Share your backyard and grow organic food!

I saw an article in the Toronto Star this weekend. I know a lot of people with big gardens that don't have time to look after them. How great would it be to have someone else look after it? And grow organic food that you can eat? Take a look at Edible Gardening and Garden Sharing website.

$17 Million Community Centre!

Exciting news via email from Barb Henderson, Membership Secretary of DMRI

"We are very pleased to inform you that late this afternoon Council voted overwhelmingly to support the negotiated settlement offer with only three councillors voting against. It includes the $17 million Community Centre as well as a contribution towards the costs of a new arena, which unfortunately will be off the DM Centre site. Further details will be posted on our web site over the next few days and included in the March DMRI Newsletter. A big thank you to all who wrote supporting the application and we will work hard to see that the various components of the agreement will serve the needs of ALL of the members of our community."
